A4: Modeling & showing your thought process and emotions as an educator/adult allows the students to see it’s ok to feel. The real work comes with how to show these emotions in a constructive way. Journaling/drawing out what/why/how emotions are there, good or bad. #SELchat
A2: As educators we need to always pause & think about our responses to our students. They come to us with such varying experiences and needs. I feel that if we model this way, showing empathy and seeing others’ perspective, the students will in time follow the model. #SELchat
