I'm looking to buy all books by Sediyapu Krishnabhatt. I can't find them in bookstores. Can anyone guide me, please?
@hamsanandi, would you know? #sediyapu#kannada#linguistics
@sridatta_a@AmshumanKR@HarivuBooks Thanks @sridatta_a. I got Kannada Varnagalu, Chandogati and Chandrakhanda on archive. I'd love to get my hands on Gamaka Samasa, Vichara Prapancha and anything else he has written related to linguistics and language.
@KShrikaanth I'm a new follower, a language teacher. Enjoying your posts on etymology, thank you. What are the best sources for Kannada etymology? I use etymonline for English, but for Kannada, the only source I know is this: https://t.co/pyKJyAPE2K

More excitingly, I got better and better at my job, fast. I was able to trust myself to produce learning outcomes in my domain: language and literacy. (9/)
Once I did, a great side-effect was that I stopped feeling burnt out (by trying to do things I don't have expertise in, in contexts that are not suited for the work, at scales that are illogical). (8/)
I'm now realizing why saying 'a good teacher should know her students' backfires in so many ways. I've tried saying 'start where your students are', but even that doesn't cut it.
All along, I've been meaning to say, 'a good teacher must know her students' prior knowledge'
