My 12 y/o daughter has been home for 3 days due to surgery. With the next 3 weeks possibly out of school, she's using her excessive supply of post its to make a wall of positive encouraging messages in her bedroom. She's amazing!
@korytellers I have students whose learning will definitely be affected. I have parents that I work with who are single parents and don't have the support of other friends or family to watch their young kids who cannot stay home alone.
@korytellers Honestly IDK. I am a special ed teacher. I have a huge heart right now for what's going on in the world of my students and their families. Could I use a break? Sure. But I have families who don't know how they're going to feed their kids.
@dannygokey my daughter's friends had meet & greet passes for Lifest, but she didn't. THANK YOU for taking time to make an 11 year old girl's dream to meet you come true. When she grows up, she wants use by her gifts to act and sing & tell others about Jesus.
@Mr_JSpike Posted an article today about high schools giving PE credit for helping adults with disabilities with hard work. Talk about being community ready & inspired to succeed in our diverse world.
@jonrosenberg 2/2 But for the love of all things good, if they'll only eat green beans, cherry toms, & carrots at least they had veggies & if they only read graphic novels, well then, it's graphic novels to the rescue!
@jonrosenberg 1/2 Let the kids read what they want. Encourage them to try new things in the same way you ask them to try new veggies such as avocado and asparagus.
@NeenahSchools my daughter is signed up for the middle school choir and drama experience. The location isn't specified on the website. Anyone have more information?
