At the end of each week I've been giving my students the opportunity to reflect upon what they have learnt in maths - I then turned their reflection drawings into a class book for the students. It was a joy to see how proud they were to see their own work published! 📚 #ACUedu_p
So many fun ways to incorporate movement in the classroom - will definitely be trying some of these with my wiggly Kinders this week! #getupandmove#brainbreaks#ACUedu_p
For National Reconciliation Week, Kinder did an inquiry about the Acknowledgement of Country and the Aboriginal flag. They had fun making the flag using paint and handprints! #ACUedu_p#reconciliation#handprints
Want students to remember something? Ask them to draw it! Research shows that drawing boosts learning by forcing us to process information in multiple ways: visually, kinesthetically, and linguistically.
Next week @ALIANational is running its annual National Simultaneous Storytime event to promote literacy – get on board! #NSS2019#1millionkidsreading https://t.co/UbUR29nopK
