@Mssarahmssarah I was turned away by four covid testers who were on their tik-tok accounts because in a school of 100 teachers they could only test five. Two days later my class was closed and my students and I went remote!

@JustinAion Unfortunately my school does not inform anyone if a child is positive nor if there is a classroom closure. We just sent home a notice that kids can get the shot this friday in school… and stay in school@afterward.

@UFT Smaller classes would help the overall education and social emotional of students as well as alleviate the heavy burden on teachers but the uft, the doe, as well as the city fail students, and then have the audacity to blame teachers who have admin that act more like slave owners

@EvaRediker I see people say just because someone gets a curriculum there’s nothing to plan.. yeah O.K.- my admin wants to see differentiation in every single lesson.. the use of technology, the use of hands on manipulativs, targets, turn and talk.. HOT questions.

@SusanBEdelman Teachers are not to be informed if a classroom is closed due to covid. The DOE does not want anyone to know what is going on. This is terrible.

I was just informed that although my first grade class was slated to have 25 students- the doe has now changed its mind and will be filling my small room with 32 kids. No 3ft rule!!! @DOEChancellor Lies to parents…, Lies to Teachers!!!

My classroom is very small and my kids will not be able to socially distance. Although I am one of the schools which is trying out the small class size- it’s all lies for the parents and media.

@reemadamin My school is on this list, I doubt my principal knows about this. I have 32 students enrolled in my class- I have the smallest room in size, to even keep them 2ft a part I was only able to fit 13 students. Needless to say, they will only choose certain classes. It is all bs!
