Notice how the vast majority of accomplishments on this list are pre-70’s/New Democrats.

The only two “accomplishments” from the modern era listed are:

-Obamacare: a band-aid on a gunshot wound at a time when the Dems had a supermajority in both Houses. Part of the reason it ended up that way was Obama leaning on Dems that wouldn’t vote for it without a public option, instead of the ones who wouldn’t vote for it with one. Rotating villain-a-go-go.

-Gay Marriage: A better demonstration of why Dems have lost their base you couldn’t find than the fact that this was the only other thing from the past 50 years he could come up with-a parade that had long since gathered majority public support before Dems jumped out in front of it. The kicker is they all opposed it right up to the minute the polls told them it was safe to virtue-signal off the issue.

Hooray for gay marriage, but when that’s all you’ve got, folks start to get the sneaking suspicion that’s all you have, and it ain’t enough.
