https://t.co/s2bqxiWFMA Let’s continue our work in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by proudly supporting Overdose Awareness and to one day end the stigma attached to it! Apply here! We only need 350 more applications to reach our goal!!
The #NOPAINAct has passed! This is a significant step forward in our country's efforts to combat the opioid addiction crisis. I'm proud to have raised my voice alongside so many others in the fight to prevent addiction before it starts. We must ensure this is implemented ASAP.
Thanks @RepLoriTrahan for cosponsoring the bipartisan #NOPAINAct and standing up for patients' access to non-opioid acute pain treatments. 👏 Learn more: https://t.co/PRsue8CRVJ
@FEDUpRally We could really use your help in Tennessee. Your Governor @BillLeeTN is refusing to lower the flag on August 31st Overdose Awareness Day for the thousands of lives lost from addiction in his state, while states around this country are writing bills! Shame on him!
Tell you state officials to write the bill declaring August 31st Overdose Awareness Day and to lower their flags to half staff. This is the least they can do for all those lives lost from addiction. THEIR LIVES MATTERED TOO!!
ICYMI: The White House released a Rural Community Toolbox to make resources for substance use disorder and the opioid crisis more accessible. Find the toolbox here: https://t.co/cbv3f3ws3u
“I’m someone who hit bottom and then furnished it,” says “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” exec producer during a lengthy interview. “I hung out there awhile.” @andylassner https://t.co/OuSSQWpLLf
Lots of hugs around our office—the state court denied the Sacklers’ motion to dismiss our lawsuit! This decision confirms that Purdue & the Sacklers are accountable to the people of MA. We need to know the truth about their role in the opioid epidemic & families deserve justice.
“When you’re facing a difficult emotional crisis, your employer’s understanding and support is a huge relief – especially if you’re having trouble functioning at your usual standard.” https://t.co/V5cf8QOVlM
When I sued the Sacklers, I was thinking of communities like Greenfield. When I rejected Purdue’s settlement, I was driven by conversations like the ones I have with @OpioidTaskForce. They deserve real accountability, justice, and the resources they need to prevent addiction.
