ERITREA — To African leaders who keeps "winning" elections by a landslide. Please don't copy this. Printing landslide ballot results is one thing, earning enough trust to walk freely among your own people is another. What works in #Eritrea could turn your victory lap into a state funeral. So, don't! #Sawa38th
@BehiwotTilahun What about the wars in Amhara, the wars in Oromia, the wars in Benshagul, the war threats in Tigray and in Somali region. Ethiopia is actually in the verge of disintegration. What a lie. 😂🇪🇷
Human Rights Can't Be Switched On and Off
When innocent Amhara civilians are killed, where is the urgency from the international human rights system? Where is the Special Rapporteur? Why do some tragedies dominate headlines while others receive far less attention?
If human rights are truly universal, then every civilian life should matter equally—regardless of politics or nationality. Otherwise, people will continue to see human rights mechanisms and sanctions as tools applied selectively rather than consistently.
Eritrea often faces intense international scrutiny, yet many Eritreans point to their country's coexistence among different ethnic groups and religions as a source of national unity. Meanwhile, Ethiopia has endured decades of recurring armed conflict and humanitarian crises that have devastated communities across the country.
Justice should be consistent, not selective. Every victim deserves recognition, and every abuse deserves accountability.

@BehiwotTilahun Nature gave Ethiopia everything, but sadly as a result of internal conflicts and bad governance millions of it's population are in deep poverty and relay on the hand out of the Western humanitarian donners.
Eritrea’s national policies are collective, not individual, and they are built to endure for generations. In Eritrea, no president acts alone; policy decisions are made through the joint authority of the PFDJ and the Eritrean government, both functioning together as the country’s policy‑making institutions.
@EIshmael_ Happy Independence day to my Somali brothers and sisters from 🇪🇷Eritrean. Though your president didn't congratulate the Eritrean people on our recent independence day. Enjoy 🇪🇷❤🇰🇿
@BehiwotTilahun We don't give a shit to what you doing. 🇪🇷is not in competition with anyone. Good luck to you if you can free your hungry people from begging for food.
What a race! Huge congrats to young phenom Milkiyas Maekele (Team INEOS) for seizing Gold & the 2026 Eritrean National Jersey with a stunning solo ride! 🇪🇷Well-deserved. Thanks to all the cyclists for an exciting championship - the future of 🇪🇷'n cycling is bright! #Eritrea

@BehiwotTilahun Years long of barking, barking and barking nothing else. Why don't you mind you brain locked Ethiopians about your beggar and disintegrating country 🇪🇹.
@BehiwotTilahun You're sick in the head and brain locked. Did Eritrea prevented Ethiopia to use it's ports in a peaceful and diplomatic manner? Why all the lies?
@BehiwotTilahun@AbiyAhmedAli "A nation united"? You must be jocking. Ethiopia is actually on a verge of disintegration due to internal armed conflicts and the on going civil war against the Amhara people. Stop lying
Tibor do you even understand what you're looking at?
Historically the entire Somali Peninsula was known as Somaliland. The "Somalia" label on that map refers only to the former Italian colonial territory. Once colonial rule ended, Somalis in both the north and the south rejected those artificial colonial borders, united their free territories, and have continued to struggle for the rest of the Somali lands.
How is this so difficult to understand?
