@RealPaulRoss The part I don’t understand is we can fully agree that what has happened in the last two years has been a downgrade, but we should also not pretend like we had a lot of success before hand, and we went from the best run franchise to the worst run franchise.
@Steve_Dangle I don’t know this team spends millions of dollars outside on sport science, analytics, scouting and don’t have much to show of in the last 12 years for playoff success. I could see a new leader coming in and being like why are we doing things that haven’t helped get us anywhere.
I don’t care if he deserves it or not but leafs need to fire Berube. They don’t have many trade assets and this team needs a spark to salvage the season. Bring in Deboer and see where you can get too.
Didn’t love this by Sportsnet at an end of a great playoff coverage. I understand homerism but this bit too much. Blue Jays had two excellent chances to win but couldn’t defeat the reigning champions. They allow the Dodgers to stay alive and it came back to bite them in the ass.
“It’s gonna sound like sound like sour grapes, and I don’t really give a shit. I think the better team did not win this series. I think the Blue Jays are the better team.”
@JDBunkis 2. I agree that it looks bad, even Dave Roberts said that they should’ve played the ball during his post game interview because it’s reviewable play.
@HayesTSN I mean was he suppose to say no I don’t want them back. Those were dumb questions by media that didn’t achieve any insight to his thinking. If he said no that would have been a huge bombshell and honestly not his decision at end of day.
