Passing money down is the responsibility of the parents. That is how generational wealth is built. But, if you want the money to spend on things, then they have the right to spend it on themselves. You don’t have the right to spend their money just because you want a nicer car. Your parents should be using that money for investments they can hand down to you for you to manage. Then you can build on those investments and hand them down to your kids. Generational worth.
