A 7 hour wait for ⁦@vicpdcanada⁩ officers overnight at RJH for a physician to see an individual apprehended under the Mental Health Act. Officers waited from 2am to 9am. Not a good use of officer’s time. Meeting w/Island Health leadership on Sep12 to discuss solutions.

Incident Command is able to confirm that all critical infrastructure in Jasper was successfully protected including the hospital, emergency services building, both elementary and junior/senior schools, activity centre and wastewater treatment plant.

???racist??? As a Haisla First Nations member, i became an alcoholic in my late 20s. To give me more alcohol, free of charge, would’ve destroyed me! How is this any different? BC is going the wrong way. Provide treatment and drug awareness instead!
