It's things like this that are a canary in the coal mine for movies like The Odyssey, where they don't even care to fix the basic details like MAKING THE BALD HEAD NOT LOOK LIKE A SILICONE CAP!! There is an obvious line where they didn't do enough blending!

Then this kind of "missing the details" problem affects the costume design, the script, the story, everything that makes a good movie good.

HOW THE HECK DOES THIS MOVIE HAVE AN INSANE BUDGET AND MAKE SIMPLE MISTAKES LIKE THIS?!
It's such a basic thing where rotoscoping and blending it properly wouldn't even take a skilled VFX artist much time at all, and yet they didn't do it. With today's AI tools, they can fix each scene within minutes.

Some corrections.

1. The dentures "made of slave teeth" is speculation based off a ledger in Mount Vernon with the purchase of some teeth from a dentist, paid to "negroes" where they sold 9 of their teeth for the equivalent of 3 months wages.

2. Thomas Jefferson didn't "rape child slaves", the only proven child with a Jefferson Y chromosome was Eston Hemings who was born almost exactly 9 months after Randolph Jefferson and his sons came to visit Monticello, she was also very much an adult, and she was 1/4 Black and existing accounts of her description say she looked mighty near white with straight hair.

3. Teddy Roosevelt had to correct this in his own life.
