Partial and inaccurate reports like these erode the prestige of such organizations, and harm the cause of Justice, given their influence on the European Court of Human Rights

They use the word "Democracy" to hide a totalitarian strategy
The freedom of expression that is being violated in #Catalonia is that of Spanish speakers and non-secessionist catalans

However, in attention to the lack of official deaths, the Spanish Supreme court removed rebellion charges and convicted them only for sedition and embezzlment (1.7 - 13 years)

The putschers still haven't recognized the harm that they did to society, which still strongly divided

There was violence and intimidation in the streets, against non-secessionist Catalans, judicial officers and against policemen

They strongly tensed a Democratic regime and the risk of stronger violence and secession was strongly felt by everybody

These politicians are convicted for:

1. illegally approving 2 laws that invalidated the Spanish Constitution and Catalan Autonomy statute

2. organizing an illegal secession referendum, in which the rest of Spanish citizens were not allowed to vote, despite they were affected

Greatly deceived with the @CommissionerHR approval of a flawed report on Catalan separatist putschers, convicted for their coup d'etat performed in 2017

This report affirms that they are convicted for expressing their ideas in the excercise of their mandate
This is utterly false

@PACE_LegalHR @Boriss_Cilevics Yes, but, at least in the case of #Spain the report is completely misled, because the catalan nationalist politicians are not jailed for "statements in the excercise of their mandate", but for enacting illegal disconnection laws, embezzlment and declaring secession
