@JayRughani Great analogy. Q is - who will own the entry point?
Thousands of different entry points into "I want medical care" - from the doctronics, to the urgent cares, to 911 calls, to doctor referrals, and to the EHRs.
I bet it comes from unexpected place. Will be obvious in hindsight.
What happens when intelligence costs goes to zero?
What happens to @AnthropicAI , @OpenAI who have raised 12 figures amongst themselves?
Where does that capital go looking for a return?
I am bullish. But open source LLMs poses great risk to nearly a trillion $ of capital.
Why are all the LLM foundational models rushing to IPO?
I think they know what we all know - intelligence is going to become democratized.
Why are they all moving into the services and looking for applications?
The intelligence moat is temporary. At some point, it goes to $0.

What you're saying is silent monitoring but selective alerting.
Health apps plagued by non-compliance cause they only ever interacted with when you need them.
But if you can turn on active but silent monitoring (e.g. oura), it keeps the door open for when you eventually need it.
@nikillinit Wait till you hear what the AMA is doing in the bg.
They influence congress on residency slots, as you know. AI doctors will allow much greater supply to meet the demand. If it swings too much, they're going to step in.
@YounisJoseph For your hourly analysis, might want to check out elevator repair folks in California. Union at the state level. Top earners over $300k without college degree.
I don't think Joy is on X, but whoever is running Product at Quest deserves a raise.
Their team has made Quest tech-resistant strictly by the UX. The entire experience feels like a tech team asked, 'How do we make this process easy to book, check-in, and see and interpret results?'
The market - that is, the oligopoly of Labs - also makes this healthcare vertical more resistant to tech startups.
Superpower, Function, etc. are just interpretation layers on top of the real-world, HALO asset that is Quest and LabCorp.
As soon as Quest/LabCorp layer in interpretation and a recurring membership, they will shutter the market.
We'll see if they go that far.
