@ShelterBox Thanks for replying! It looks like you're using cloth pre-filtration & GAC good for up to 1000L depending on initial water quality. Have you considered extending your solar lighting options to include a USB power bank? Our system can operate on 5V & may outperform current filter.
@techarity Hello! :) We have a great updated page on our website that explains how Shelterbox were involved in World Water Day and what we provide in our kits to aid with accessing clean water. Details can be found here: https://t.co/JFqKobQaad.
@GlobalWaterWork@LinkedIn AWG is definitely a powerful tool for ending #waterscarcity. However, I believe the true disruptive innovation is going to come from improving water reuse at point of use. Decentralized water treatment like low-power electro-flocculation can take fouled water & make it potable.
@TheVineetMittal@UN@wef@CEEWIndia@teriin Solar Desalination & other Desalination techniques are definitely very useful, but I believe the real solution to ending #waterscarcity is to decentralize #water#treatment to improve water reuse. With <10% of global water reused, I feel like we're missing the obvious solution.
@LSmoliar AWG is definitely powerful, but I believe the truly disruptive innovation is going to come from decentralizing water treatment so that we can increase water reuse. With less than 10% of water reused internationally, we're missing the obvious solution to ending #waterscarcity
@WRAgovja @Petchary @pcharlesjr @minofseaja @geoffmarsh Thanks for replying so quickly! Have you run into any issues with your current setup? We're developing an open-source water filtration unit based on electro-flocculation with sand & cloth filtration. It's low power & portable.
On Sunday’s #WorldWaterDay we’re calling for #SafeHands!
But we also want to remind you that 4.2 billion people have no access to safe sanitation
In the face of #COVID19, we must ensure that everyone has access to clean water for our health & well being: https://t.co/36SMs2Ka2k
Today is #GivingTuesday and we want to highlight our friends over at Potter and Clay Ministries, a community-based ministry in Mare Rouge, Haiti. Their goal is to find practical solutions that help prevent malnutrition in children and alleviate the burdens of everyday life.
