I am here as a legal immigrant who went through the process because I truly believe in America’s promise of freedom and democracy.🇺🇸

This country has given me a home,
This country has given me a family,
A voice so I can speak freely without fear,
A purpose to stand up for human rights and freedom,
A future filled with hope and opportunity,
An education both in the classroom and in life,
A team of brothers who battled with me on and off the court,
A community of people from all walks of life who embraced me,
A platform to defend the voiceless and fight for justice,
A responsibility to give back and protect the values I love,
A dream that I was told was impossible elsewhere,
And a sense of belonging, a place where I can say “this is home.”

This country has given me so much, and I’m grateful every day for the values it stands for. I believe that anyone who comes here should share that respect for America’s freedoms. If someone hates America, hates its flag, and hates what this nation stands for, then they should not belong here. It’s about protecting the spirit of freedom and democracy that makes America home for those who truly value it.

To my fellow Muslims in America,

Let’s stop pretending.

This country took us in. It gave us safety, schools, jobs, freedom to worship, things most of our parents and grandparents never had back home. America didn’t just let us live here; it let us become something bigger.

But some of us still act like we’re just visiting. Some put the ummah first, no matter their hypocrisies. Some think sharia should ever come before the Constitution. Some make excuses the second another “Allahu Akbar” shooter opens fire on our streets. Some scream for foreign flags while American soldiers and cops are bleeding ten miles from the White House.

If that’s you, do us all a favor: go home.
Go back to the country you or your parents ran from. They obviously need you more than we do.

The rest of us; the ones who tear up at the national anthem, who thank God every day we’re American, who see every citizen here as family, aren’t going anywhere. And we’re done staying quiet while the loudest voices make the rest of us look bad.

So here it is, plain and simple:

Put America first or get the f*** out.
No third option.

this is a really cool story that popped up on the feed. People don’t know how doable it is to do what you did, but even if it’s doable it’s not easy and requires sacrifice and self belief. You clearly had self belief 🔥🔥

@jenanmoussa thanks! re: Israel, any concerns that even with Assad gone, if Iran / Hezbollah pay up the jihadis will create a route? Even if Turkey is their backer? Similarly, short term chaos, but long term should Israel fear another enemy?
