Last week, I started something new.
I’m excited to share that I’m building Upskill GCC — an AI platform to help expats and students in the Gulf region become job-ready and employable (CV & LinkedIn optimization, skill gap analysis, and digital bootcamps).
A man must build 3 things:
1. A body that can handle pressure.
2. A mind that doesn’t panic.
3. A skill that creates income.
Miss one, and the others suffer.
Success is not obtained overnight. It comes in installments; you get a little bit today, a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate, you lose that day's success.
The actual secret to greatness:
Pick your thing.
Pick a good system for your thing.
Surround yourself with people who support you doing your thing.
Do your thing for a decade.
Well said it. May Allah increase you in knowledge.
What about her statement “his money is for everybody - implying it’s for the wife and the family I guess”.. what’s the Islamic view on that ?
I believe there’s a clear difference between what’s yours individually and what’s is jointly owned. They are not treated the same way. Barakallahu feek
This is a common misconception with many Muslim women. His money is not YOUR money, yes he’s obliged to provide for you and the family and that is where it ends, yes kindness his encouraged but, His money remains his. He controls and chose how to spend it and your money is your money.

Arabic has a formula that turns any action into the person doing it.
Writing → the writer.
Seeking → the seeker.
Ruling → the ruler.
One pattern. Three letters. And suddenly the verb becomes a human being.
Let me show you how it works.
A Bedouin was asked:
"Who is the intelligent one?"
(سُئل أعرابي من الذكي؟)
He didn't say the one with the most knowledge. He didn't say the one with the sharpest mind. He said something that will change how you think about intelligence.
