Headlines beat narratives, narratives beat fundamentals, but technicals always prevail. My ideas and inclinations are never financial advice and are always free
If creating systems that learn from large datasets how to understand and best interpret underlying patterns, then using real-time data to generate trading signals is how we define AI, then I and many others have been doing this for a very very long time. What follows below is a mix of subjective, objective and occasionally cynical knowledge sharing. The key is to always always make it simple to see
@HansCashFlow Nobody dares flinch first. Until then, we wait for that dreaded headline: "We can now Kimi with half the GPUs and 80% less memory."
Until then...pile it on.

@SamanthaLaDuc It’s great fun. I know it’s a way, way too far-fetched of an outcome, but $100 well spent if I get a 142x return because Powell wakes up Wednesday choosing chaos, and drops 50bps just to watch CNBC spontaneously combust. That’s what us degenerates call a Godly risk/reward ratio.
@SamanthaLaDuc As we get closer, the thing everyone will notice, will be the +ve correlation between the advent of quantum computing and physical assets. The minute cryptographic integrity starts sweating, gold coins will stop being boomer relics and start front-running the QC champs.
@SamanthaLaDuc That here is the Netflixification of generic everyday AI offerings. First it was wow that's cool, then there were 10 me-toos and soon we will settle for 2 or 3 bundlers of LLMs, TPUs, and hallucination clips, into monthly family plans. Amazon are you seeing this? Chop chop Prime!
@SamanthaLaDuc Add in those famous last words from Satya Nadella on the Brad Gerstner’s Limitless podcast: “It’s not a chip supply issue, it’s that I don’t have enough warm shells to plug into”
@SamanthaLaDuc - December cuts, back on
- China all-you-can eat chips, back on
- Mamdani peace accord, reached
- Ukraine sign-off, this weekend or else
What else can we do before Thursday? Fannie & Freddie announcing a 5% stake in Nvidia, Michael Saylor WH dinner…need ideas
@SamanthaLaDuc Nah, no way that ever happens! Google creating a cheap take-it-home, modular piece of hardware that anyone can use to run anything like Google Search tech in-house! No way, never in a million…oops, sorry, please disregard https://t.co/dC3sEWJYDn
For all this hyperscaling hoopla, history WILL repeat. When $GOOG became the backbone of mass data, indexing & retrieval, anyone wanting that power in-house, got the Google (GSA). Next, as needed, firms will run open-source AI on cheap local or cloud hardware. Remember DeepSeek?
@SamanthaLaDuc So $MSFT has loads of idle GPUs, $CRWV report was a complete mess, $META AI-palooza is an absolute nightmare and open-source AIs are now a dime a dozen. But $NVDA will beat, raise and praise, Hallelujah. Also...
