What do they have in common? All demanded that Amazon adopt stronger COVID-19 protections.
Demanding that your company protect its employees should NOT be a SACRIFICE!
Tech workers – take a solidarity photo and tweet at @techspeaksout!
Statistics and infographics can not properly convey the impact of discrimination and bias in the workplace. Workers experience undermined feelings of safety, confidence, trust, and belongingness. These feelings are hard to represent on a bar graph.

Hey, go follow @discotechorg!
They're releasing a series of accounts from tech workers who have experienced discrimination on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, disability status, immigration status, ++.
We've read a few – these stories are powerful and unacceptable.
Go to https://t.co/LcWxPmDulv to sign the petition – tell @Google that they MUST take a stronger stance against extractive industries!
Carbon neutrality isn't enough – Google is one of the biggest+wealthiest companies on Earth.
We CAN and SHOULD hold them to a higher standard!
A HUGE congratulations to @TaxAmazonMvt for your years-long effort to make this possible!
If Amazon is going to make billions off the labor of Seattle's workforce & infrastructure, it can chip in for affordable housing! #TaxAmazon✊
The Amazon Tax is a historic victory for working people and the result of determined class struggle by a democratically-organized grassroots campaign. Our movement is beating Jeff Bezos (again)!

By “garage” do you mean that’s where his parents kept the over $413,000 in today’s value they gave Jeff Bezos to start?
Monopoly, brute force, racial capitalism and exploitation built Amazon. Not Cinderella.

Hey! Ya like memes? Help @XR_NYC send @Google a message: no more oil&gas money!
Users have a right to voice their opinions to megacorps that impact their lives & futures! Next week's focus is @Amazon (which shouldn't be hard after "Climate Pledge Arena...")

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who’s been supporting me and following my story since my firing from Amazon for speaking up against health and safety concerns for its employees. My fight absolutely exposed how this capitalistic society still plagues this
I’m an Amazon worker and I support the strongest possible Amazon Tax. 1000 new homes in the Central District. $50 mil for Green New Deal. No sunset clause. Pass it now. #TaxAmazon
1,330 -> 1,360
Since we posted this, @JeffBezos has added over 30 contracts with police departments, including in Las Cruces, New Mexico - where a police chief resigned after a suspect was choked to death.
Google says no AI for Big Oil, and now IBM says no AI for police. Amazon says yes to both. 🤬😓 @amazon, you're getting left behind on the wrong side of history. "IBM will no longer offer, develop, or research facial recognition technology" https://t.co/2Yi80wcLJr via @Verge
In support of @Mvmnt4BlkLives’ call for institutions to cut ties w/ police, we demand @Amazon stop its complicity in the surveillance, policing, & murder of Black people
Tell @Amazon—stop providing tech to police & ICE: https://t.co/ozdU6n6vXS
#AntiBlackAmazon#DefendBlackLife
Which side are you on @Amazon?
You can't say you're for #BlackLivesMatter while still building your 1,330 police department partnerships that fuel and profit off of daily anti-Black violence.
Tell @JeffBezos to cut his ties and #DefendBlackLife

.@Amazon stated that it "stands in solidarity with the Black community." To Amazon that means firing organizers, making them DEMAND sick leave, and launching smear campaigns against its own workers.
Amazon, solidarity isn't a bumper sticker. Put up or shut up.
#BlackLivesMatter
We, as workers, oppose police brutality and other forms of anti-Black terror and violence. We stand with transit workers and all others fighting for justice and equality in our community and beyond. Rest in power George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery. #BlackLivesMatter
Actions speak louder than words. Amazon's words mean nothing when they are firing Black employees organizing for better working conditions, when leadership planned racist smears against Chris Smalls, calling him "not smart or articulate," ... (cont)
Additionally from @alibreland at @MotherJones, the #AmazonSmile program, despite its own terms of service against hate groups, continues to raise money for anti-LGBTQ, white supremacists, and other designated hate groups.

We need to immediately take hi-tech tools away from the police. Activists: demand cuts to police budgets and capabilities along with full transparency. Workers: tell your employers you will not work on projects that aid the military and law enforcement.
