..another HOUR.. & #Gemini ULTRA DeepResearch is still hanging new reports (after 1hr wait) or denying service. @GeminiApp @GoogleDeepMind .. anyone ?? #Bueller? A whole late night and nada, so guessing forces many of us to try Claude 3.5.. since we have CRITICAL work to show in the AM (vs. the cat video's taking up TPU's).. no watchdog?? for DOA jobs, so we don't waste Millions of human hours, let alone Google HW/power hours??

Since we're sharing, the Gemini interface, like most, is God AWEFUL, Notebooks TBD (does it just chew up your DeepResearch Context window to hallucinate sooner? .. assume yes, no info), but no sorting/date-time stamps, no topic tags, no Personal vs. Work (your home and phone or Google Home dumb gemini-enabled Q's show on your chat timeline..) and the "#Search" through your chat history is 2x-Aweful.. and you folks ARE literally GOOGLE, its like a Junior High project.

We will dig into the Notebooks new features if we don't get sucked into Claude or ChatGPT, TBD. #Hoping @tomshardware @TheRegister @CNET

Have been trying since ~?an hour before my first post.. so ?~3hrs 30mins+ ..and another report attempt hanging NOW at ~40mins! Started with Deep Research reports hanging.. after ~40mins tried to cancel but won't, then said it's too busy, try back later.. and now reports still Hanging. Honestly, @GeminiApp DESPERATELY needs a better way to show you it's NOT HUNG so we don't sit for HOURS.. Sooooooo PAINFUL & a time sink. Thought Ultra would be better, but ????? Hoping to hear from someone they had a glitch, service, DOS attack, or some overloaded demand "anomaly" vs... nada, they don't know (we know they know), an outage/latency dashboard? @JeffDean

@JeffDean Jeff, 👏We absolutely LOVE the pace and INCREDIBLE work @Google collectively is doing in the #GenAI space.. & accellerating Every day ! TY & Congrat's! (please find the ⚠️"however" below, sorry)

While we are VERY eager to :
- see/get #TurboQuant rolled out (enabling developers and SMB's on-prem mini-frontier access without $M's in HW), can't wait !!
- leverage the purely astounding @googlegemma 4 leaps locally, and what's coming with advanced #harnesses for continuous learning ..
- While deploying the #1 trend .. 24x7, high-powered harnesses (Beyond simple #ClaudCode capabilities & @openclaw offerings) as autonomous #agent #teams!

⚠️However, the daily #1 complaint we (after asking why Google has several products/interfaces as marketing chaos, with few tutorials/cheat-sheets.. nor universal/ core interfaces), ***nearly all of our giant enterprise customers comment on.. is that while all of the low-level tech/capabilities are advancing & taking off.. there is still a MASSIVE GAP regarding the basics for #interface/"#usability" (for the 99x% without Workspace & even with full Vertex++ integration, the daily Gemini user is left with #disorganized interface) ..until now, it may be a universal issue with competitors, but shouldn't be a reason to ignore :
🚨Gemini++ still has an almost High-School level chat #interface .. with NO good plugins to solve the issue, no./few tools/integrations,to just show basic #Date/Time stamps in the App/Browser Chat window, no #sorting, no folders, no #tags (NO columns, just a pub/sub list??).. nor and drop downs to select an agent (from a local built repo).. nor the expected integrations with @googledrive (itself being a mess for yrs, granted seems some work being done)..

the chat interface itself needs to allow for "personal" vs. "Work" or "Work/Project" chat folders/sub-folders and date/time visible, then an EASY / FAST way to delete from check-box selection, add folders/projects..

**and 101-basic "intuitive" interface that solves much of this as part of the initial interactions.. A> when you click "New Chat".. opens a dialog where you can select "personal/work" (seeing your personal/phone/home requests show up in your online account is annoying as heck .. needing to delete to prune the list), .. select from created #projects (that don't have to be GCP "projects"), assigned topic/subjects/tags from drop-downs, .. all that associate with a #directory/ tree or graph (would be nice to offer both views).. as putting some "structure" around what we spend our days interacting with our AI assistance, .. and ALL are familiar with "folders" as most intuitive default (even if behind the scenes it's some cloud storage..).

? Which begs the Q: (Beyond the direction of asking our AI assitants to "organize" for us in their image of good... ) ?? Will or When will Gemini/Gemma+++ offer a universal interface with simple chronologies and organization/storage, for our HUNDREDS of chat sesions/topics, NTM our 100's of Gemini Pro Deep Research #Reports, Knowlege/Topics harvested, NTM TIME & Tokens/energy expended on Google's HW ??
I'll guarantee this is causing a TON of re-work daily * M's of sessions.. imagine the side-effect of meaningless re-work, just done since the prior output can't be found, nor built upon ??

Hopefully Google can expend some tiny amount of time to create a free/universal interface for it's AI/Chat/Agentic capabilities.. and we'll see on a roadmap very soon ?? or better yet, released soon ? #please? 🙏🤞😆 If beta testers are needed, let us konw.
