@TomSENS Hilarious word play when you take out the names.
They want to get better
They won’t be mad if they get better
Doesn’t mean they are trying to get better
@brandonpiller1 It’s your day. Don’t let anyone else’s ideas or thoughts of what it’s supposed to be or what is supposed to happen take you out of the moment.
@Don_inFarrhaven Detroit doing what the Sens had to do with Yashin under the previous CBA.
There is a responsibility to the league here for the betterment of the product.
@JulioHashem Job was a third liner under his old coach, and eventually became a 1st liner, so expect him to speak highly about what potential growth is possible with his current teammates.
@Don_inFarrhaven Genuinely hilarious that they stole so many draft picks from everyone during the expansion draft, and people thought they were crazy when they gave them all back to go get real talent.
There’s a lesson or two to be learned on how to build a winner.
@JulioHashem While playing top level defensive hockey…..the one thing the critics begged him to change (and Jacques Martin) from day 1. Blech.
Just an incredibly stubborn player who got in his own way and was the biggest X factor for the Sens that never hit his ceiling.
@JulioHashem I was a Spezza defender, right until asking out.
Now, all I can see is a guy who walked in to the best situation any top prospect had ever walked in to(seriously, hard to top), didn’t push the team over the hump, and then asked out the second it got too hard.
Harsh, I know.
@SensCentral I am agnostic to the direction the team takes this summer. I could just as easily be moved to pushing all the chips in as Staios kicking the can down the road a few years by dealing some pending UFAs.
Both of those have merit. The only thing they can’t do is stand still.
