I think that the lack of expository preaching today is the root of all evil in the churches. You don’t teach them how to interpret and how to love the Bible. —@AugustusLopes https://t.co/C5o7NxILhO
n light of the signs of the Spirit of God working on some college campuses and in light of the responses of some young people to returning to churches looking for robust Christianity, I thought this call by Lloyd-Jones to be watchmen on the wall.
We should be waiting, looking, and watching, and if we hear of any stirring of the Spirit of God, we should pray that it may continue, that it may increase, that it may go on. If we hear of something that is just smoldering flax, we must pray that it may burst forth into a flame.
Rather than giving ourselves over to despair, we ought to depend on God’s ancient promises to preserve His people. He will have a true people for Himself, and there’s nothing anyone or anything can do to thwart that. —@AaronGarriott https://t.co/rhPXdIwzR8
@ClayTravis Come on,you’re a lawyer and an educated man. Cussing like a 7th grader doesn’t persuade me of your message, but it does devalue the important moral issues our country faces.
