@DavidHindmarsh7@blans88 I get that, that’s why I don’t think it’s a big mistake.
But he should have shuffled more towards the centre of the goal and found a view to the ball from there
@chesterwriter@Peston Yes but at the moment, people’s views are based on guesswork: who to trust?
After the investigation, whichever way it goes, at least constituents can make an informed decision
@chesterwriter@Peston But he’s trying to force people’s hands BEFORE they have all the information.
The idea from the others is to let the investigation be seen through to the end.
That way, the next by-election would be a fair fight, giving the constituents complete transparency over their choice
@hopelesssprings@GBPolitcs Maybe change the rules so the rich can’t avoid tax, or pay more in other unavoidable ways
All it takes is just a little belief that things can change
@hopelesssprings@GBPolitcs The public shouldn’t have to pay over the odds for food, which is needed, or sacrifice heating over food.
The farmer shouldn’t be paid tuppence for their hard work feeding the nation.
Those who can afford to, should pay their fair share of tax, so the system can benefit both
@ant_rants@owlthatissuperb Would you eat the dog if that dog mauled a child to death?
If you won’t eat a nice cow, does that mean you would eat a bad dog?
@Charlanardo@NotSamCane It acts as a little reminder.
Put a beer infront of an alcoholic, what do you think is gonna happen? They’re addicted.
Put a gambling logo infront of a gambling addict and the thought comes back. “Maybe just one. I can win it back”
A thought only because of the logo
@DeusDeadened@dinosaur_info I didn’t say veganism. I said eat more plant based whole foods.
Although I’m curious what you think is very evil about it? What do you mean?
@DeusDeadened@dinosaur_info That’s not all you can do. You can normalise the fact that 99% of the meat we eat is completely immoral and unnecessary and people should be eating more plant based whole foods.
Do better for yourself and encourage others to do better
@DeusDeadened@dinosaur_info Factory farming is bad, factory farming is immoral. Glad we both understand that.
Why, then, does factory farmed meat sell so well, and why is this not spoken about more?
The sad fact is most do not buy local.
(And free range usually doesn’t mean what you think it does!)
