@Johnloc@united@AmericanAir Unfortunately I moved up the peninsula to San Bruno. United has a virtual monopoly at SFO. Am thinking of moving close to an airport where Frontier is the primary airline - their customer service is so much better then Untied’s
@united I was ticketed in first class from EWR to SFO. Instead of sitting in a comfortable seat at the front of the plane @united put me in a middle seat at the back of the plane and then complain when I try to make a joke. Please!!!
"We broke your plane. Even though Newark and San Francisco are major United maintenance hubs, we don't have any spare parts or planes, so we've cancelled your flight. Call us if you still want to go home."
This should be a casebook study for customer service failures by @united . Originally booked from Dominican Republic via Newark on Saturday. A few weeks after reservation was confirmed, United sent a message to me that essentially said
"We've cancelled your flight from Newark to SFO. Call us if you still want to fly home." The only available flight was 6:00 am today, so we rebooked for that flight, and spent the night in Newark. At 3:00am, as we were leaving the hotel, United sent another message:

@united cancelled the 6:00am flight from EWR to SFO. Their customer service desks open at 4:00am. Look at all the agents helping customers at 4:15. Customer service is clearly the name of the game at @united#EWR
