These are Grade 12 pupils, some as young as 17, being given the opportunity to pursue higher education without the financial burden that keeps so many of their peers out of university.

One person argues that he should’ve given them the money instead. Another says 20 children aren’t enough. Someone else suggests the gesture sounds like a ritual and therefore can’t possibly be genuine.
