It looks like bad governance really has to happen to some of you personally before you understand why some of us keep demanding good governance.

I simply pointed out that we seem to have more campaign buses than ambulances in Nigeria, and instead of asking why our hospitals lack functioning ambulances, some of you are busy defending it.

Anyway, one day we will have good governance. One day, we will have a Nigeria that all of us will be proud of. And on that day, I hope those who defended bad governance will be ashamed of the excuses they made.

Until then, we will keep speaking. We will keep demanding accountability. We will keep demanding a better Nigeria.

Justice can never be cracked.

I wonder what will become of all these campaign buses being shared around, even though we’re not yet in the official campaign period.

I just hope that after the elections, they won’t be abandoned. Maybe they can be converted into ambulances, considering that many hospitals in Nigeria don’t even have one, and where they do, many are no longer functional. Some states are even using Keke as ambulances.

Or better still, convert them into public transport buses for the people.

At least, if they can’t continue as campaign buses, let them continue serving Nigerians.
