@DoctorNordo@electron9_1@goldensilv90927@xgigglypuff @Marty___Moose Sorry Mr. Flibble, but you need to cite the Bible. There is even a specific way to do it. I am Australian, but assume this is not specific to us. My kids had to learn to cite the Bible in their religious essays in high school.
@GregDore2 Our school had just announced no large gatherings; not sure how I feel about it. Luckily, my year 12 snuck his formal in a couple of weeks ago. We do apparently have 12% of day students infected.
@k_eagar@mozziebytes @AHSRI_UOW @CroakeyNews@abcnews@theMJA@anmf_federal@ama_media Do you have any information on what % of total deaths usually occur in aged care? I assume including COVID deaths would still significantly increase this, but feel it’s a more relevant comparison to % of population.
@gemcarey@mini_niner@ALeighMP Have you tried Hotdoc. Looks like a couple of places offering Novavax in Canberra if you are still looking. Hopefully more will come online soon.
@ASX1500 @discoball2000 It is a little crazy but this from Qld Ed site: ‘Currently, all high school students, including those who are under 12 years of age, need to wear a mask both indoors and outdoors, unless they are seated or are able to maintain 1.5m distance from others.‘
@discoball2000 @ShadowPandemic @Fiona_M_Russell My kids school are so lax with masks anyway (I love it). My 17yo doesn’t even take one and 15yo has one in his pocket in case a teacher asks. We are in Qld.
@ranjitrao1 We aren’t doing this screening in Queensland (thankfully IMO). I hope if of all goes well here the screening will be dropped in other states.
@PMGPSC It is a parents job to weigh-up evidence and potential consequences for their children. This is why the majority of parents will be sending their kids to school tomorrow. The risk for most kid and their families will far outweighs the potential consequences of keeping them home.
