A woman called Michelle Farnham is now 17 days into a 3 week protest, living in a cage, at Trafalgar Square, to try and save a pig called Luna (who lives in an identical cage). She stays there day and night.

It has not had any big coverage, as far as I can see. I think it's a bit of a shame that violent and disruptive protest gets so much coverage, while quiet sort of self-sacrificing things like this, that do not harm anybody or any property, get less attention.

Whether you or I agree with her, or what she's trying to do, what an impressive commitment, eh?

@BrighterNow13 I'm glad they all survived

Near the shores of Panama City Beach, a giant manta ray thrashed against the pull of a net as a crew dragged her from the ocean. Tourists watched, horrified. The ray, protected under the U.S. Endangered Species Act, had not been accidentally caught. She was deliberately targeted, wrestled onto a boat, and shoved into a plastic tub

The company responsible—Dynasty Marine Associates—had a permit. That’s how this was legal. With a Marine Special Activity License, businesses can remove endangered species from the wild for “exhibition” and “education.”2 This license was used to send the manta ray to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, where she will live in confinement—if she survives at all

With the new Premier League & Championship kicking off soon & the EFL already underway, I’d like to buy someone’s kid a shirt of their choice.

I know how expensive kits are these days and whilst it’s only a small gesture, I’d love to help out.

Just RT this to enter.

Cheers. ❤️
