🇩🇪🇶🇦 Joshua Kimmich in 2021 on Qatar 🗣️
“I see us as having a responsibility to address things. That’s what we tried.”
🇩🇪🇺🇸 Joshua Kimmich in 2026 on the USA 🗣️
“That we players can solve these problems or change anything about them: that’s the wrong expectation.”
Incorrect. He had a visa. From the US Embassy in Nairobi. It was valid. They vetted him there, and gave him a visa.
Then he landed in Miami, was detained for 11 hours, and deported to Istanbul.
THEN they branded him a terrorist.
A FIFA referee, simply because he’s Somali.
This is a governor complaining that the commissioner of police is disobeying him.
Another piece of evidence that the state governor does not have full control over the security of his state.
I write this with pain in my heart.
On April 23, 2026, I bought a car on loan after trading in my former car, which had become a constant source of problems. I still had an outstanding balance of ₦4.5 million to pay.
On April 28, 2026, I was taken away by the Nigerian Army under the guise of DSS officials. For three days in their custody, I was subjected to treatment that left deep scars on me physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Throughout those three days, I remained handcuffed and blindfolded. During the day, I was left under the scorching sun for hours without water. I begged and cried for water, but nobody gave me any. At night, I was kept in an extremely cold room where I would cry and plead for help, but no one responded. I also received random slaps from unidentified individuals.
Even after the court granted me bail, the trauma did not end. I still wake up suddenly at night, struggling to sleep as memories of those days continue to haunt me.
What breaks my heart even more is that the car I bought on loan was damaged. Sometimes I ask myself: what exactly did I do to deserve such treatment?
My only “offence” was speaking up and asking that my brothers and sisters serving in the military should be properly fed and cared for.
Today, I can truly say that Nigeria happened to me.
But despite everything, one thing remains certain:
Justice can never be cracked.
All the people that had so much to say about Qatar 4 years ago, are suddenly silent about the USA. All Qatar did was ask the world to respect its culture.
The USA is violating every professional and ethical rule that governs the sport and everyone is silent.
Oriire children has been abducted for 26 days now, slowly creeping into a month...
I genuinely hope people don't move on, always have them in mind and lend a voice, till their release.
No kind of poverty should make you partake in a terrorist giveaway, man. Money you know likely came from the ransom paid by families of kidnapped victims?? Haba what kind of society are we??
In fact every single one of you should be treated as a criminal.
