A woman abducted by terrorists for over 50 days, who witnessed the beheading of a colleague and the death of another, endured unimaginable trauma in the bush. She was separated from her family, lived with the constant uncertainty of her own fate, heard the cries of children, and feared that one or two of them might not survive the harsh conditions of the rainy season.
Yet, upon her so-called rescue, the first thing she reportedly thought about and asked for was a car?
Are you people kidding me?
Those children were allegedly held in the forest for more than 50 days, exposed to malnutrition, disease, and the horrors of captivity throughout the rainy season.
Yet they all emerged looking remarkably fresh and healthy, with little to no visible signs of the ordeal they supposedly endured.
This entire narrative reeks of a high-budget production executed by an amateur cast and crew.
The plot holes are simply too glaring.
How did the woman immediately begin thanking Tinubu?
Who informed her about Tinubu before she even acknowledged those closest to the operation?
Wouldn’t her first gratitude naturally go to the Nigerian Army, the Police, Governor Seyi Makinde,
Only after learning everything that happened during their captivity would it make sense for her to thank Tinubu and Nigerians at large.
But she went straight to Tinubu.
Poor, poor script.
May the souls of the teachers and our gallant security personnel who paid the ultimate price in this charade rest in Peace.
As someone who grew up in the Muslim world, I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself:
When Muslims are weak and in the minority, they speak endlessly about tolerance, coexistence, and peace.
When they become strong and gain power, that tolerance completely disappears, even toward their own people.
This isn’t an opinion. This is historical fact, proven across centuries and across many countries.
The West needs to understand this pattern before it’s too late.
Tolerance in Islam is not a principle. It’s a strategy.
So here's the gist.
The Pharaoh in Aso rock increased international passport fees from 50k to 100k last year.
He has increased tertiary institutions schools by over 300% since 2024.
Now he has taken WAEC and NECO from 27,000 to 50,000
He also removed general electricity subsidy and cooking gas went from 700 to 2000 within 2 years.
So tell me exactly, you APC b*stards the benefit of supporting Tinubu?
Just so you aren't misunderstanding... This is how the West would react if its leaders were killed or captured. And it feels normal and is reported as such.
But then, Iran and other countries (DR Congo, Libya, Burkina Faso, ...) whose leaders have been killed or harmed aren't even given the benefit of a fair response under international law or in the media; instead, they are labeled as evil.
Well, well, well. It's alright.
"I'm so sorry, but if you're an average Nigerian, you can't just walk into a bookstore and buy books anymore.
You're in a bookstore with the best of African fiction and even some foreign titles? Look at the prices on the shelf:
16k for the latest Nnedi Okorafor.
15k for Chimamanda Adichieʼs own.
17k for Stephen King.
That's half of someone's salary o.
You want a Masobe book? Hold nothing less than 8k. If the book is super popular, 10k.
The cheapest book is for kids and na 5k pere.
Motivational books nko? 13k, 9k, 6k. You go come dey weak.
You'll now settle for one tiny 4,500 book.
You see a Harry Potter book. You love HP. They tell you that it's 20k. You're confused.
“For the whole set?”
“No, just for Order of the Phinoex.”
And na Satan go baptize you if you're ordering online, because delivery fee is like 5-8k. Cheapest o.
It would now seem that the only sort of books you can afford are those ones that come super-cheap from online vendors. Them fragile paperbacks by John Grisham, Danielle Steel, Tom Clancy, Dan Brown, David Baldacci, Nora Roberts & James Patterson. That you can bargain for one-faif.
Remember, you can't buy pirated copies o.
Can't get ill-égal PDFs either. No jus' try am.
If Asher Kine gives you 500k for groceries, you can buy enough to feed two families. Take that 500k into Rovingheights & you'll walk out with just 25 books or so.
Sigh.
You just have to hustle hard so that one day you can be making 5m monthly. To buy books. Just that by then, you wouldn't even have time to read anymore.
For now tho, just go and watch Netflix. It's cheaper."

As a member of the team that accompanied His Excellency @PeterObi to the Abuja airport on Saturday, July 4, I can state categorically that he does not have a police officer as his driver in Abuja. Therefore, if airport CCTV captured a police officer entering the driver’s seat of a vehicle, that vehicle could not have been Mr. Obi’s.
It is also important to note that Mr. Obi travels through as many as ten Nigerian airports every week. Over time, there have been several acts of hostility directed at him and members of his team by airport personnel across different locations.
Based on the account shared by the Honorable Minister, it is clear that the incident Mr. Obi referenced during his interview with @Chude did not occur on the date or at the airport cited by the Minister. They are plainly two different incidents.
Doctors aren't supposed to be receiving nothing less than 1M a month.
The equivalence of House Officers Salary in Kenya in Nigerian naira is 2.4-3M (206,000KSh).
Nigerian doctors are enduring a whole lot of maltreatment.
And as he is walking into that venue with his shaved-down Afro hair, he is going to plop on a mandatory powdered wig because an English king in the 17th century was balding from syphilis.
Are we cursed as a people?
I think its Yahoo boys that's making some of you clowns
You are a security man
You see me 10 times, you beg and hail me 10 times
You sell shoes 85k I can get on Temu for 50k with free delivery
You open a restaurant and use plastic takeaway to sell one plate of Egusi soup for 18k.
Just because Yahoo boys are tipping you everytime you hail them or because Yahoo boys are buying 5$ Chinese sneakers for 85k or because Yahoo boys mostly do not have taste and will accept 18k soup in a black SUP plastic takeaway
That does not mean we are all Yahoo boys
I am not giving you shishi unless you earn it. If you like hail me 1 million times
I will buy my cheap Chinese shoes on Temu and I will not accept an SUP for an 18k soup
