@malmcmullan@tonyleen@Kerry_Official@CavanCoBoardGaa Allow an advantage after the mark; it could also help promote kicking the ball inside to forwards given it'll come back to the original mark if overturned.
@m_brosnan@BankOnthe@LeoDougan Whilst we might see/hear it as spectators, the referee quite often is too embroiled in game play to pay any heed to it and sideline officials don't want to stop the game unless it's bad.
@SignumTeePrint @RuairiMcNaughty @GaaSense This would appear to make sense, however the actual rule states that the advantage is cancelled and a free is awarded against the attacking player (presuming it doesn't differ from football.) I can't recall one instance of this ever occurring, though!
@DarraghFeeney@2010cully@m_brosnan They did, but they've been involved in more big games and scored more big goals than anyone else over that period so an endemic issue in the game is just more visible with them.
@SmallerFishGAA@kyleconey90@clubber Yeah I just so happened to "cherrypick" an All Ireland minor game instead of launching the Fossa U14 video vault. I'd say all available direct evidence suggests David may have displayed some humility, or at best you maybe lacked some specificity.
@movementcoachkm@GAAtrackerAPP I agree it should be used more but the easier marks are in low % conversion areas and this is exacerbated when it's often lower % shooters. It could be utilised better, but the creation of a mark and the chances of a score will often be less valuable than alternative.
@SmallerFishGAA @peilstar 6 v 6 inside the kickout 45. Opposite side of field can choose to do what they want. I haven't particularly thought this through tbf.
@SmallerFishGAA @peilstar I believe a better rule would be to enforce at least 6 v 6 inside the 45 for kickouts and then have the space in the middle to encourage kicking longer; rather than crowding the middle and forcing it longer. Or just leaving it alone altogether!
@CahairOKane1 Rule should just align both so that the free matches the rule from open play. It's much harder to call when ball is in area rather than from point it's hit in. Also goalkeepers have enough protection (and defenders should be clearing the path from them!)
