How do I tell you that even this two weeks is very long.

The difference between someone making $1k and someone else seeing $10k is just information.

Let me break a belief system that may be holding you back from making more money.

The price of a US-used RX 350 is about ₦30M in Nigeria.

If I walk up to you and say, “I’ll sell you this car for ₦15M.”

Is it cheap or expensive?

My bet is you’ll say it’s cheap.

Now, if I tell you, “I’ll sell you a one-bedroom apartment in a remote area for ₦15M.”

Is it cheap or expensive?

My bet is you’ll say it’s expensive.

It is the same ₦15M, but completely different perception.

Which means cheap and expensive are subjective.

Something being expensive to you does not necessarily mean it is expensive.

Sometimes, what you’re really saying is: “I cannot afford it.”

And this thinking is important when it comes to making money.

Because if your definition of “expensive” is based entirely on what you can currently afford, you will naturally underestimate the value of things that could take you to the next level.

You’ll say:

“₦300k for this my service is too expensive.”

“₦1M for this service is crazy.”

“Who will pay ₦5M for that?”

But someone else may look at the exact same thing and think: “That's actually cheap for the value I’m getting.”

Which means that your current purchasing power can distort your perception of value.

And if you want to make more money, you have to learn to separate:

“I can’t afford this” from “This is not worth the price.”

They are NOT the same thing.
