Glenn Campbell Political Editor at BBC Scotland when interviewed on Reporting Scotland regarding the death of Alex Salmond plunged to a new depth of crass, insensitive, inappropriate, unprofessional, unbecoming rhetoric.

Before we go into why this article is unacceptable, it is important to look at the background of this deeply troubled, unstable and out of control individual. That may be because of these shortcomings and being devoid of a moral compass, ethics, humanity is seen as the ideal Political Editor of BBC Scotland.

As shown this individual as far as public records show does not hold one journalistic qualification and has no experience of life outside the media bubble.

Going back to that crass interview Glenn Campbell is in clear breach of BBC guidelines namely 4.4.13 shown in the clip below.

Having heard what Glenn Campbell said, he is clearly and beyond dispute behaved outside the criteria set out in the BBC Charter.

By his actions in the eyes of the public he has plunged to new unanticipated depths and its obvious to all he and his staff have been given free range to say what they want, when they want, how they want, confident BBC as an institution will protect them.

Glenn Campbell's interview was no off-the-cuff, on-the-spot statement. It was measured, edited, and every word carefully chosen. His body language showed he savoured every moment, gloating, salivating like a rabid stray dog.

Emboldened by this new precedent, anything goes. Motivated by the knowledge that come Independence, BBC Scotland would be refused a broadcasting licence and with that their jobs. Unemployable in the industry Campbell and his news staff would return to long overdue and well deserved obscurity. For individuals with big egos and a good conceit of themselves it goes a long way to explain what drives them and makes them immune to exposure, ridicule, derision and parody.

It is our belief that no matter the amount of complaints to BBC Complaints regarding Campbell breaking BBC Charter 4-4-13, they will be batted away and internally seen as vindication of their editorial line and the suitability of Glenn Campbell as Political Editor.

Glenn Campbell sees himself as untouchable; protected by the UK Unionist Establishment. However, he must be put in no doubt the people see him for what he is.

Small minded, Cynical, Sycophantic, Unscrupulous and Unethical.
