@Spectreman_ I got into the show on a whim and binged it. I later found out the authors of the books live here in Albuquerque, and one was the personal assistant of George R R Martin. The books have been described as “space GoT”, which I agree with in terms of pacing and writing style.

@Spectreman_ I tell everyone it’s a fantastic place to retire to. Low property taxes, great scenery, and outdoor activities galore. Still relatively low cost of living. It’s somewhat of a secret and has a reputation for crime (not unwarranted, but it’s slowly getting better). But I love it

@Spectreman_ We have a mask mandate again here in New Mexico, and I won’t be surprised to see a bunch of vaccine mandates popping up at big employers here. The leadership of Texas and Florida, among others, is straight up negligently homicidal. It’s insane.

Per capita , least vaccinated states have

So yeah, vaccines are working

Currently down 13 pounds and on track to lose 75 this year. I'm 6 weeks into a healthier lifestyle and it's becoming a habit. I've _never_ been able to get here before. I'm so excited. <3
