A 19-year-old charged with stabbing a man in Pittsburgh so badly his intestines were hanging out was released the SAME DAY without posting a dime.

Eight days later, he’s the prime suspect in ANOTHER stabbing.

District Judge Dan Butler let Delvin Dobbins walk on a non-monetary bond. Just a promise to show up to court.

Pittsburgh Police Chief Jason Lando couldn’t believe he was out.

“How can that be? I mean, he just stabbed someone in the stomach a week ago.”

And it’s happened before.

Two years earlier, Dobbins was let go after a burglary arrest because the juvenile detention center had closed. Two months later, he was charged with SHOOTING a convenience store clerk.

Two stabbings and a shooting. The man keeps racking up victims because the judge keeps SETTING HIM LOOSE!

HYPOTHETICALLY… IF I BOUGHT MY HOUSE FOR $125,000 IN 2002 AND THE COUNTY NOW SAYS IT’S WORTH $487,000, WHERE DID I ACTUALLY MAKE $362,000?

Did I sell it? No.

Did I receive $362,000? No.

Did somebody hand me a check for the new assessed value? Obviously not.

But my property taxes still go up because, on paper, my house is suddenly worth hundreds of thousands more.

That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me.

This isn’t income.

It isn’t cash sitting in my bank account.

It’s a number someone assigned to my property, and now I’m being billed based on that number.

If my stock portfolio doubles but I don’t sell, I haven’t turned that gain into cash.

If my salary stays the same, I don’t suddenly owe more income tax because someone thinks I’m worth more.

So why does owning a home work differently?

WHY AM I PAYING TAX ON A GAIN I NEVER REALIZED?

A house isn’t just an investment.

It’s where people live.

You can pay off the mortgage, own the property outright, and still face a bigger bill every year because the value of the house went up on paper.

At some point, you have to ask what “owning” something actually means if the cost of keeping it can keep rising because of money you never received.

THIS ISN’T ABOUT WHETHER THE HOUSE IS “WORTH” MORE.

IT’S ABOUT BEING CHARGED FOR VALUE YOU NEVER TURNED INTO CASH.

And people are starting to notice.

McDonald’s is using an AI-powered pricing engine to help determine menu prices based on transaction data and "customer willingness to pay"

The AI engine doesn’t just look at McDonald’s sales. It also scrapes public menu prices from nearby Burger King and Wendy’s and folds those into the “optimal price.”

The algorithms estimate “customer willingness to pay” at each restaurant and according to Reuters, store franchise owners say the company pressures them to use AI pricing tools

"McDonald’s pricing engine uses machine-learning algorithms to continually analyze data from millions of daily transactions across McDonald’s nearly 14,000 restaurants and generate what the company calls “the optimal price” at each location for each menu item” - Reuters

It’s a big difference

2 McDonald’s locations just 2 miles apart in Fresno, California were selling the same Big Mac for $5.69 vs $6.89. That’s a 21% difference

The franchisee dashboard literally grades stores on how much locals will tolerate: “Your restaurant is showing MEDIUM SENSITIVITY to Price” based on “customer willingness to pay in your area.”

The media does not help. I recently stayed at a hotel that kept CNN on in the breakfast lounge. I would come down for a few minutes to collect what I needed daily. The garbage that I heard in that brief time, leads me to conclude the listeners are brainwashed and gaslighted all day long, every day. They are victims to a degree. Why this isn’t aggressively dealt with, I don’t know. It is one thing to call them “fake news.” Another is to fine both companies and managers/owners/board members personally, shut down “news” networks, and jail propaganda perpetrators. Let’s go!
