PHOTO | Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) has achieved a landmark milestone for India and Andhra Pradesh with its indigenous Dilution Refrigerator successfully reaching 4 Kelvin (-269°C) at the Quantum Reference Facility in Medha Towers, Amaravati.
This achievement marks one of the most important advances yet in India’s quest to build a complete homegrown quantum technology ecosystem. It represents a significant step towards the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat in frontier technologies and positions India among the countries building critical quantum hardware capabilities indigenously. The milestone further strengthens the vision of making Andhra Pradesh a global hub for advanced technologies.
The journey began in September 2025 when scientists, researchers, startups and industry leaders met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and presented an assessment showing that nearly 85% of the components required for quantum computing infrastructure could potentially be developed within India. Recognizing the scale of the opportunity, the Chief Minister and the IT minister Nara Lokesh called for the creation of a complete indigenous quantum hardware ecosystem and articulated a bold vision: “Made in Amaravati for the World.”

@anilgosula18@hiteshjanaki7@naralokesh@kshitijgokul Can’t both co exist? You can rightfully demand for hospitals at the same time not mock the efforts of the minister trying to get the investments flowing into state. Going by the tail behind your name, I figured why you might be salty.
It was a pleasure to meet the Hon’ble Foreign Minister of Singapore, Mr. Vivian Balakrishnan. We had a warm and productive discussion and fondly recalled our previous meetings.
Our conversation focused on strengthening connectivity and economic linkages between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh, including air services, upcoming airports, and enhanced air connectivity.
We also discussed opportunities in digital infrastructure, undersea internet connectivity, data center-led ecosystem development, and emerging areas in the commercial space sector. I shared AP’s vision to leverage its strategic advantages and build a future-ready economy powered by innovation, connectivity, and global partnerships.

It was a privilege to meet the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lawrence Wong, and discuss new opportunities for partnership between Singapore and Andhra Pradesh.
Our discussions focused on semiconductors, AI, quantum technologies, R&D, university partnerships, urban governance, leadership development, logistics and advanced manufacturing. I also shared Andhra Pradesh’s progress in developing Amaravati as a globally benchmarked capital city with world-class infrastructure and institutions. Prime Minister Wong appreciated the vision and progress and expressed confidence in its future potential.
We also explored cooperation in natural farming, aquaculture, food exports, healthcare, clean energy, green hydrogen and green ammonia.
I invited Singapore’s government-linked companies and industry leaders to partner with AP in Amaravati’s growth and contribute to a future driven by innovation, sustainability and economic opportunity. @LawrenceWongST@HCI_Singapore

Bapu was telling stories that celebrated capable and independent women long before it was even a conversation. #MisterPellam remains a beautiful example.

See what @satyanadella has to say about data centers and water usage.
Datacenters run on a closed loop cooling system, the water usage of a datacenter for an entire year is roughly equivalent to a usage of 1 restaurant!
Anyone who endures public humiliation, and societal mockery just to feed their children is not ugly. They are the definition of a hero.
Happy Mother’s Day.
A rare jewel of the Eastern Ghats is finally getting the attention it deserves.
Under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri @ncbn garu and the strong direction of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri @PawanKalyan garu, The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department, in collaboration with the Eastern Ghats Wildlife Society, has initiated a conservation status survey of the Peacock Tarantula (Poecilotheria metallica) in the vast landscape of the Nagarjunasagar Srisailam Tiger Reserve (NSTR).
This species is Critically Endangered and endemic to a very small region of eastern ghats in Andhra Pradesh, making it one of world's most unique and vulnerable arachnids.
Understanding its distribution and population is a crucial step toward securing its future in the wild.
Because conservation isn’t just about the iconic species — it’s also about protecting the rare, the endemic, and the irreplaceable.
This is one of many such stories to come.

India’s private space sector is booming in Andhra Pradesh!
While Skyroot Aerospace anchors the govt’s new 300-acre "Space City" in Tirupati with a ₹400cr hub, Astrobase is charging ahead at its own 21.5-acre site nearby.
The Astrobase Roadmap:
 2024: Private test site operational
• 2025: Proved the engine math with small fires
• 2026: Full-scale "heart of the rocket" engine test (FFSC)
• 2027: The "Hop": Baby steps in vertical landing
• 2028: Full rocket dress rehearsal on the pad
