It's remarkable that a woman can complain about free speech in Britain while supporting execution for blasphemy in Saudi Arabia.
This might be one of those paradox of tolerance situations.
Indian official statistics are a beautiful thing.
LPG is up by 10%. Petrol prices have jumped 8%. Landlords in any half-decent area are increasing rents by 10-12%. School fees and medical expenses are rising in double digit. Bc even sutta has seen 30-40% hike.
But yes saar, inflation is 3.93% 🤡🤡
India spent a decade learning why retrospective tax is poison. We're about to throw the lesson away.
Picture this: your team wins a cricket match, clean, by the rules of the game that day. A year later, the umpire changes a rule and applies it backward — and declares you lost the match you already won.
That's retrospective tax. You broke nothing. They moved the line, then pointed it at your past.
We did exactly this to Vodafone in 2012, chasing them over a 2007 deal. Cairn Energy got hit too. Both went to international arbitration. Both won. India refunded over $1.2 billion and spent years as the cautionary tale that every global investor cited as the reason they hesitated on us.
In 2021, we finally repealed it and called retro taxation a thing of the past. Capital started trusting us again.
This week, the courts upheld retrospective GST on online gaming. Dream11 and an entire industry now owe tax on years of operations under rules that didn't exist at the time.
Retrospective tax doesn't punish what you did. It punishes you for not predicting what the government would later wish you'd done.
As a country, we should not set such a precedent.

A Global Appeal | Please Raise Your Voice!
Dipu Chandra Das (30), a Hindu man in Bangladesh was brutality lynched and set on fire by Islamists, following false allegations of blasphemy. Although perpetrators of this heinous crime are mostly seen in a video, which they made while committing this crime, the pro-Islamist regime of Muhammad Yunus is showing shocking reluctance in nabbing the murderers.
Since last year's Jihadist Coup in Bangladesh, religious minorities including Hindus, Christians, Buddhists and Ahmadiyas are facing unimaginable atrocities. Unless there is a huge international outcry, religious minorities shall continue to face cruelty as Islamists and jihadists are gradually gaining power.
I am humbly calling upon world leaders, rights groups, journalists and media outlets to please raise voices and demand exemplary punishment to killers of Dipu Chandra Das.
Dear Mr Tharoor @ShashiTharoor,
▪️What is the defense for a married male if his legally married wife alleges rape "after consensual sex"?
▪️These issues are delicate, tricky & judges are dealing with it case by case
▪️A blanket law could motivate every other disgruntled wife to use #MaritalRape law as a tool to fix her husband & in-laws
▪️Laws cannot be made on the basis of social media virality. Ground realities of misuse & functioning of a corrupt legal system cannot be overlooked for few Likes & Retweets
▪️Please do not try to create another 498-A kind of monster in Indian society. Laws cannot be made for one gender alone. Both genders need to be protected if either is abusing the same
🔹️P.S. | Pl re-read what UPA-II under Dr Manmohan Singh government said while rejecting Criminalisation of Marital Rape in 2013
Politicians rumored to be changing parties should refrain from making the male gender their scapegoat

Results of two nation theory.
On left is a peaceful law abiding Pakistani Hindu girl, kidnapped, rapped for weeks, forced to convert, and despite her requests to join her parents, Pakistani courts sent her to women shelter home.
On right is a Mulim woman in India, lives a lavish life in western life style, advocates Burqa and madrasah education for common Muslims of India and spits venom against Hindus and India round the clock, yet never arrested or faced any persecution.
Would you prefer being Muslim in India or Hindu in Pakistan?
This judicial idiot doesn't understand that going to Mandir, Dargahs, and Gurudwaras does not make him "secular."
Visiting "religious" places is a "religious" act. What should be "secular" is their equal treatment in his jurisprudence.
He does not accord that equal treatment.
Also, if he doesn't go to these places out of reverence, perhaps he shouldn't go.
I’m sorry to spam you guys with this again but I love sharing our achievements with such a supportive community here.
We just crossed another milestone with our indigenously built CNC machine. We just achieved a machine speed of 769 pcs/minute.
Thank you for your attention.
India is essential in helping the U.S. move its supply chains from China.
While Pres Trump works to bring manufacturing home, India stands alone in its potential to manufacture at China-like scale for products that can't be quickly or efficiently produced here.

Congratulations #India with your Independence Day on August 15! A strong and true democracy, secular, but with a dominant Hindu identity and values. I cherish my friendship with the Indian and Hindu people.
I love you India ❤️
