Once road work is completed before Kumbh it will come down to 3-3.5 hours max. Ample buses run on the route too

Why one will spend 6+ hours in train one way?

Pls look into footpath encroachment at ITI road, Aundh. It’s a mess in evening and so much litter. Especially the corner of Durga cafe where there is wine shop.

Smart city footpaths should be well lit & accessible to pedestrians and not hawkers
