@ExoticSpice101 Yeah it’s engagement bait, or he truly is this dumb.

@anticringeclub He didn’t say the lack of 120hz was good for the gaming experience? Sure.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

Yes. The thing holding back gaming on the Apple TV is 120hz. Excellent analysis.

[Quinn Nelson @SnazzyLabs]

Oh, also, the AppleTV doesn’t support HDMI passthrough yet again nor does it support 120Hz so that’s cool for the alleged gaming experience they always advertise. But hey, it’s got some microphones now!

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

Good news everybody (where everybody means the two people other than me interested in Handbrake and Apple Silicon). Handbrake dev Galad87 very kindly updated it to include the new 27 encoder option for Constant Quality encoding. https://t.co/H4TGM3U24N

@CiccaAndre @Flatpanels Better for 24h than actually outputting 24hz?

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@MarcTechStream @lafaiel The problem is the kind of people interested in buying expensive tv boxes want things like audio pass through and dv 7.6 support.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@sigjudge Price is a concern as are the lack of AV advances afaik. Happy to see the update nonetheless.

@IAmau0b @LittleGuyDev @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj Buddy, what do you think the “m” in rtfm is? Multiple people have shown you the “m” and you keep repeating nonsense..

[sarah @winocm]

...If anybody's looking for a person who basically does everything from compiler {backend,frontend} development, GPU driver development, to hardware/firmware security research, let me know.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @komintrots @lillesoe @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj The manual says it’s Unix.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@NikolajSchlej Awesome news! Happy to hear you’re better.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @lillesoe @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj What the hell are you saying?

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj You are wrong. You have been shown to be wrong multiple times. Only foolish pride is stopping you admitting it. MacOS was a certified Unix. End of story.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj Keep punching yourself in the face. It’s fine..

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj Can you read?

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @heffejeffe78 @strzibnyj You aren’t addressing any points raised.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @strzibnyj Yep. Your confusion here, is assuming the naming of the kernel has any bearing on whether macOS was Unix. It doesn’t. The only thing that does is whether macOS could be configured to pass the Unix 03 conformance test, it did and Apple paid the Open Group the fee necessary.

[🦊 @tek_n01r]

@IAmau0b @strzibnyj It was literally a certified Unix. Hence the tweet.

@SamLee Awful miss
