@TTP_updates This kind of reporting is helpful. I went back and looked at the accounts @mmfa cited for extremist content. It turns out that most of these (~70%) are currently banned or demonetized by X. Of course, the others are bad + serving ads. https://t.co/dirR0pvafw

Even within the short term, I think the fate of #TikTok may largely depend on how successfully politicians are able to use the platform to get elected--or how successfully outside parties can manipulate the platform to get politicians elected. https://t.co/aDqGzYzdxd

In my new Substack post, I take a look at Media Matters and brand safety on X. @mmfa has been quite effective in getting extremist content banned/demonetized. But, as you can see, good contextual w/bad content can lead to some extra-concerning placements. https://t.co/EWeYx0hxHi

Good article. Data brokers illustrate what happens when people ignore the etiquette adage “don’t count other people’s money.” It’s unhealthy for the gossiper and the gossipee. But when this behavior is affirmatively *rewarded*—society absorbs the costs.
Have you been following the ever-changing, ongoing saga of @elonmusk & X Corp vs @mmfa vs @KenPaxtonTX ? If you want an informed, way-too-researched, take on it then read my Nothing but 'Net substack. X has a point, TX doesn't, & Media Matters has the law. https://t.co/0vMgZPEptb
Hey folks! I just started a substack called Nothin' but Net, where we'll like at timely issues relating to the internet, law and policy. Here's my first post. Not a Slam Dunk: The FTC and the States’ Amazon Antitrust Complaint #FTC

There's a time and place for the bottom-of-funnel product-centric stuff.
But if you want to generate top-of-funnel awareness, you need to use your capabilities and knowledge to provide value to a broader audience.
Most adtech marketing boils down to, "Look at our great product."
Adalytics isn't saying, "Look at how we helped an advertiser better measure campaigns and improve performance."
They're showcasing analytics capabilities while educating about an issue ppl actually care about.
Great adtech marketing case study this week from Adalytics.
They reported on YouTube allegedly collecting behavioral data from devices of "made for kids" video viewers.
The lesson? Show, don't tell. Show your analytics capabilities by surfacing data people care about.
@AdtechGod@JudSpencer@kfranasz@patiencehaggin The guy who must most hate reading that article is the poor guy that had to attach his name to this hack job of a response. Let me break it down:

Woah, this WSJ report breaking has significant impact on quality publishers. “after reviewing the research, ‘Advertisers and consumers will continue to suffer from Google’s rampant conflicts of interest and fraudulent conduct.’” - @SenMikeLee
I was telling Remmy’s dog trainer about the Amazon suicide cases. He, like literally everybody, was astonished he’d not heard about that AMZ sold product it knew was for suicide and now is trying (but failing) to hijack court process for immunity so they can sell in the future.
