strategy 5: similar to 2 and 3. tail risk is understated, especially in crypto markets. Also, you ARE picking the winners and losers - if got the strategy idea from this post you probably don’t have predictive power on btc price over the market. That means you’d essentially be gambling and/or picking pennies with massive tail risk depending on exact range

strategy 4: it’s just market making - describing it as easy and safe strategy is a massive understatement. People have researched this field for decades, but you’re just gonna come in and consistently make money click-trading - good luck. If you’re reading this post to get strategy ideas it’s probably not for you

@AleiahLock strategy 3: same as 2. To add to this, doing it in short term bitcoin markets is even more riskier because it’s very volatile and unpredictable. (not to mention the recent rumors of manipulations in these markets)

strategy 2: that’s a classic “picking up pennies in front of a steamroller” or selling out-of-the money options in tradfi- it works until it doesn’t. People tend to underestimate the tail risk in these strategies. Moreover, if you bet small, your returns are gonna be minuscule and not worth it

@AleiahLock strategy 1: that’s not possible in the same market - yes and no tokens use the same orderbook, the liquidity and trades are mirrored in both. what you describe is steucturally impossible because of positive spread.
