@Director_Bison It's also the only medium where a remake could make sense. If you have a flawed game with neat ideas that don't work out, fix it in a remake.
But it almost never happens, and remakes end up completely different, a worse version of the original, or both.
There's exceptions :)

I will play NG3 one day because I really enjoy dogshit games that re dogshit in interesting ways.
