@CP24 the storm is BAD. Take cover. We're in Cambridge. It likely will hit TO soon. Trees are down here. Pic is from just before we got hit. HIGH winds that rolled in FAST.
@CANADALAND The implication that we should continue to prop up this horrid industry like it's actually necessary is ridiculous too. At what point will enough be enough? Once you open your eyes to the horrors humanity is capable of, you will never be able to unsee it.
Did you look it up.
@CANADALAND Secondly, the remarks about dollar values on living beings and the **unchallenged** suggestion that it's good for our government to be compensating this industry. This industry that is basically a factory designed for disease development and antibiotic resistance to start with..
@CANADALAND Did you even notice how you believe another living being only matters based on how they can be used by you? Did you even think about that for a minute?
There's an entire anti-speciesist social justice cause that's totally just ignored.
@CANADALAND Look up "ventilation shutdown" right now
The implication that the only people who care are anti-vax conspiracy theorist nutjobs is insulting. This is a heavy issue with many facets and you ignored the biggest factor without a moments consideration.
Srsly, go look up what I said
@ConnieCodyCA congrats Connie. Haven't seen you in ages. Hope you're doing well.
What's your position on issues affecting animals? The Libs failed to follow through on their one relevant promise to end live horse export last time. We gotta get that done, at min: Horseshit .ca
@CTVKitchener What kind of truck was it? They send soo many overloaded and careless aggregate/gravel trucks on this road. When I heard the sirens, I assumed it was another gravel truck collision.
@CTVKitchener Not surprised if it were a gravel truck. We know from experience how those trucks speed out from that gravel pit like they don't care if anyone's coming. This is an inevitability on this road given the way the MNRF, Region, and Township let the industry do whatever they want.
@NewsRadioKIT I live down the road and heard a bunch of sirens non-stop. I wonder what happened. This intersection has a bad history thanks to all the dang gravel trucks
"The determination of government and industry to keep the curtain drawn on corporate farming practices suggests that there’s a lot they want to remain hidden." @lindaMcQuaig 's latest: https://t.co/AuQaBYZmHr
@CANADALAND Thank you for covering this. I question how it was still operational for over a decade after abuse allegations unfolded. We need stronger laws & enforcement to protect animals across the board.
Marineland still welcomes visitors, but, like a dead mall, nearly everything inside is now closed. Recently, we trekked there to learn what this limbo looks like for Canada’s last captive cetaceans.

@SquadBustersx@kenjeong Would you dawn your fancy suit to help us save chickens in real life? ❤ So many wee roos saved from cock fighting rings who need safe & loving homes. We gotta help Adopt A Bird Network.
@COMMONSpod The FRUSTRATING part of this is the total lack of consideration for the perspective of the fishes. This is a podcast glorifying animal slaughter. Every time they speak lovingly about "fishing" replace that word with "slaughtering animals" & see what you think.
