Got called in today along with another coworker for a mistake that I made and I instantly took accountability…tell me why buddy started throwing me under the bus unprovoked…so my boss says “you heard her take accountability right? Get out of my office” 😭😭
The reason a lot of you don’t see anything wrong in one person hoarding large sums of money while people slave away and die of hunger is because you aspire to be like that also. Unfortunately, you are more likely to walk on water than to be a trillionaire.
My father is not Otedola
But my mother never lifted a finger to work during any of her pregnancies.
She is still a size 8 at 67+ because daddy keeps funding her healthy feeding
I grew up eating veggies like Broccoli, kale, cauliflower, zucchini, radishes etc because my father could afford paying for them to be brought fresh from Jos for his wife monthly.
My mom grows berries, custard apples and other exotic fruits at home because her husband could afford a house with enough land for her horticultural garden and is building her a bigger house with even more land for gardening
If I say I want a man with my father’s money A LOT of you in this generation won’t be able to afford 1% of the comfort he gave and still gives my mom.
I eat salads, drink green teas constantly and I know how expensive they are. The average Nigerian man cannot daily pay 12k for breakfast and dinner salad (I am doing this for myself as a single woman because I grew up eating this way).
Otedola is far, middle income fathers exist and a lot of you small boys still can’t afford the things our middle class fathers can afford but keep talking.
Yesterday, bandits killed 17 farmers in Nigeria, and it barely made the news. 17 lives gone in a day, people who worked to feed others.
Farmers are targets, farmlands unsafe, food production under attack.
At this rate, a food crisis or even famine is not far.
