@EllisChidera@ehdeeray I’m very calm bruh, does my tweet suggests otherwise? Why mention any health care professionals…. Salaries should be paid in accordance to the amount of work an individual does not necessarily in comparison with other workers.
@EllisChidera@ehdeeray Are the nurses the only healthcare professionals doing shifts, and moreover we also have our struggles though it differs in various institutions… it easier to judge from the outer look.. no one Job is easy and the pay is still shitty..
So because the difference between a house officer’s salary and that of nurses or other professionals isn’t that much, that somehow makes the unnecessary suffering and slavery during housemanship okay?
Lmao. Instead of asking why doctors are the ones putting other doctors through all this unnecessary hardship, you’ve made salary comparison your entire argument.
Every year, young doctors die because of the ridiculous work culture. But no, your concern is proving doctors work harder than nurses and other professionals while earning “less.”
I have no words.
And let’s not act like we’re forgetting facts. It’s only during internship that the salary gap isn’t that wide. A Medical Officer earns more than a nurse who’s been in service for 10 years.
But I guess glorifying suffering is easier than admitting the profession created this problem for itself.
@nurse_kidda There’s this short pixie cut that I bought one time because of heat.. the day the matrons started complementing the wig was the last day I wore it😂
