@CareyNicholas So true mate, lacks aggression and tenacity and is so poor aerially for his height. People just think he’s physical because he’s big but he is simply a passenger in the midfield. Not to mention he’s too slow on the ball. Would be stupid not to accept such a massive offer.
@BlancosAway@WhiteNoise1879 I actually think we need a ball winning 6 with legs rather than an 8. Especially with Arbeloa’s pressing style, I’m not sure Shea Charles or Sander Berge could fulfill that role
@AidanFulham Okay let’s not act like Diop wasn’t horrible in the air himself. Both are, and we definitely need to buy an aerially dominant centre back especially next to a smaller one in Bassey. Think we need one in the 6 as well as Berge is horrible in the air as well.
@FFCJoe Right Sided Center Back, 6, Striker, Attacking Midfielder, Another Depth Winger, and maybe a right back if Castagne leaves. How many of these are we gonna get done before August 24th? 1 and that’s being optimistic.
@FulhamTransfer As soon as he took off Rice, it was over. There was no one in the midfield, and even if Rice was injured (i don’t think he was), bring on Mainoo. But he won’t do that. Has to go and bring in someone who will command respect from the players like Gerrard despite his inexperience.
@SkyFootball Tuchel has to go, such a sackable offense. If you’re gonna play defensive football, you have to get over the line. Only having one midfielder on the pitch is unacceptable and you saw that with the two Enzo shots.
@alfklly@WhiteNoise1879 Andersen is gonna have to leave one way or another. Arbeloa won’t tolerate his lack of pace in a system focused on pressing. If we can get £16 Million for him, that would be good, but we have to cut our losses on him.
@FulhamIndy@WhiteNoise1879 I’m gonna be honest, I really don’t like him for a transition based team like Fulham. Ik he’s had an excellent tournament, but to me, he’s slow, unathletic, poor aerially for his height, and lacks aggression. I personally would look for a more physically dominant CDM this summer.
@FulhamTransfer I don’t think we need to have the craziest summer, maybe big signings at defensive midfielder, striker, attacking midfielder and a right-sided center back with the rest being depth pieces. That could probably push us to Europe. This is roughly what I would have in mind.@TonyKhan
@FulhamTransfer@MatteMoretto Think we should go for Richarlison. I think he would excel at Fulham and because he can also play on the left, it wouldn’t block the development of Muniz if he turns out to be something. He hasn’t played well of late but reckon he could make our attack fluid.
@WhiteNoise1879 I love the appointment. This class of promoted teams are in such disarray that I think now is the time to take a risk on a young manager who plays an attractive brand of football. Worst case scenario he’s sacked by Christmas and we finish 17th, but I think he could be our Iriaola
@ItsIbzFFC For me, now that McKenna is gone, it feels like the 3 promoted teams are in shambles, so why not take that risk now. It feels like his football could potentially push us to Europe and at worst we have a bad start and finish 17th. I think it’s a risk worth taking.
@BlancosAway As much as you are right about his inexperience, I would like this appointment. He plays some brilliant high pressing football. He’s a young manager with bright ideas who brings young players through. And the fact that he managed Madrid will command respect in the dressing room.
@FulhamTransfer@ojogo Unpopular opinion, love him and Arbeloa. Both play really high pressing aggressive football, and I think their football would bring excitement to the cottage. High risk maybe, but either could easily transform us into a team that consistently gets Europe. Prefer Arbeloa tho.
@maxmel171@WhiteNoise1879 Absolutely needs to go. The team needs to become more athletic. As good as Berge was yesterday, need a real athlete in that position in the summer. Andersen and Berge both aren’t good in the air, pacey, or aggressive. Seriously hinders our pressing and set pieces.
@Rory_Talks_Ball Yea except they’re not getting to the Semi final. Atlético is, and they’re a nightmare matchup for Arsenal. Ik Arsenal already beat them this season, but now they have even more counter attacking quality than the first match. Reckon it will be Bayern Atlético in the final.
