@SirJarus Mexico has a large economy but that shouldn't be confused with wealth. It has a large population, which explains the large aggregate GDP but if you measure GDP per capita, it's actually a middle income country.
It’s a tough ask. But maybe one day someone in government will understand that trying to grow an economy with high cement prices is like trying to drive fast with a handbrake on. And important to note - Dangote will STILL make money even with lower prices. It is already extremely unusual to have a cement billionaire in any country (there is no cement billionaire in China even with all the cement they’ve produced) and Nigeria has produced two. It’s enough. It is time to focus on the things cement can do for a country instead of just who is producing it
