Starting an inter-cropping experiment with very unusual combinations. Having a wise neighbor is the key to yield advantages. Half way through setting up 60 plots.

It was my great pleasure to host this talented and inquisitive group of people from all around the world to teach about why roots matter and how to measure them. Thanks to @I_P_P_N for the opportunity and to @nobleresinst for the hospitality. Safe travels! #IPPNrootphenotyping
@I_P_P_N Root Phenotyping Travel Award winners at #ISRR. Clockwise from top left: @_oliviacousins @BenjaminDelory Yinyu Wang, Emily Marr @NIABTAG and @oluwheat. Say hello to them and ask about their research using root phenotyping technologies
@guillaumelobet Yes, this is a central dilemma for scientists these days yet gets precious little attention except for offset programmes. We would actually need offset programmes and no air travel....daunting.
@TempertonLab Ben showing how we found the same pattern of root productivity in response to changing plant order of arrival in acidic grasslands as in mesic. #EAB2017

@LarryMattYork @CaihongBai Hi Larry. In your graph axes it looks like both axes describe root angles? How come? Is it a form of standardisation of sht data?
