A visionary leader, admired for his diligence, and compassion. As a philanthropist, through Dr. Temple Nwosu Foundation, He renders community services.
At the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, I joined His Excellency, the Vice President Alhaji Kashim Shettima GCON, my brother Governors, distinguished guests, and investors from across Nigeria and around the world for the opening ceremony of Invest Lagos 3.0.
It was an honour to stand alongside other distinguished leaders and share the unfolding story of Abia State, a story of resilience, transformation, and opportunity. I began by expressing my gratitude to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, whose vision and selflessness created this platform for states to showcase their strengths. Lagos is a megacity, but Nigeria needs more thriving cities to absorb growth.
I shared how Aba, following two decades of effort, now enjoys 24-hour electricity through Geometric Power. This achievement is the foundation for industry, manufacturing, and investor confidence. From Aba, we will be transmitting reliable power to Umuahia and other parts of the state, because we understand that energy is the lifeblood of economic growth.
In three years, we have completed over 400 roads, introduced electric buses, and built infrastructure that makes movement easier and greener. Healthcare has also been central: Abia is ranked Nigeria’s most health-emergency prepared state (SBM 2025 Report), with hundreds of centres refurbished, over 800 professionals recruited, and 15% of our budget dedicated to the sector. Our most ambitious vision is the Abia Medical City, already prepared with 200 hectares of land and access roads, now awaiting investors to help us build a world-class healthcare destination.
I also highlighted the Abia Industrial and Innovation Park (AIIP) in Owaza, Ukwa West LGA, where we have resources in oil and gas, and are laying the foundation for industries that will power the future.
In my remarks, I emphasized that Abia is not competing with Lagos but complementing it. Nigeria’s growth requires multiple thriving cities, and Abia is ready to deliver.
To our investors, like Lagos, Abia State is open, prepared, and positioned for growth. Together, we will shape a Nigeria where businesses prosper, healthcare flourishes, and innovation leads the way.
Greetings Your Excellency.
I was very proud once again as an Abian and also an appointee in your government watching you as you demonstrated your cerebral capacity which sets you apart on Abia Arise Tv yesterday.
Your Excellency Sir, Watching you present Abia State at the Invest Lagos event was nothing short of masterful. In under 8 minutes, you showcased what is already on ground and clearly pitched where investors are needed.
You articulated Abia State’s 25-year development blueprint under your leadership, with clarity, emphasizing power, transportation, and road infrastructure to enable faster business movement. You didn’t speak in generalities — you rather called out specific opportunities in healthcare, industrial zones, and other sectors already taking shape. This is what happens when a leader leverages experience, networks, and vision to attract real investment.
Your Excellency Sir, you have once again turned the searchlight on Abia as the investment destination. This has always been what the New Abia Movement is all about, and these are your core values which I personally, align with.
Your Excellency’s re-election come 2027 is non-negotiable. Never again will Abia return to Egypt.
I make bold to say that o am Abian. Thanks once again Your Excellency for making us proud.
Your Son

This Is The New Abia Movement
Yesterday in Lagos, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, once again demonstrated the cerebral capacity that sets him apart. To my people of Ugwunagbo and the entire Ugwunagbo/Obingwa/Osisioma Federal Constituency: this is the standard we must now demand in representation.
That is why I fully declare my support for Dr. Nwambuwa Chiemela, who has been chosen to fly the Labour Party flag for Ugwunagbo/Obingwa/Osisioma Federal Constituency. He is one of the first eleven of Ugwunagbo — tested, credible, and ready. His emergence will showcase in our Federal Constituency the same values of competence, vision, and integrity that Dr. Alex Otti stands for.
Let me also state this clearly: the re-election of Dr. Alex Otti is non-negotiable. Never again will Abia return to Egypt.
As for Dr. Nwambuwa’s House of Representatives bid, I urge all believers and members of the Ugo-Ugwunagbo Support Group to transfer the support you had for me to him. He is a reflection of the new-order spirit we all represent in this Movement. Your place is protected — both in the campaign affairs and in governance.
This is the beginning of perfect alignment with the values of His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti in our Federal Constituency.

Yesterday, we gathered at the event centre by Okpara Square, Umuahia, for a thanksgiving service held as part of activities marking our third anniversary in office. It was a solemn moment of reflection on our collective journey and an opportunity to give glory to God for His unfailing and enduring faithfulness.
I want to sincerely thank Ndị Abia and everyone who has partnered with us on this journey. Your trust, encouragement, and steadfast support remain the cornerstone of our progress, and without you, the Abia success story would not be unfolding as it is today.
I also appreciate Brother Emma Okorie, President of Living Word Ministries International, and other anointed men and women of God whose steadfastness and prayers have been a source of strength since my political journey began in 2014. Their unwavering support has continued to uplift Abia, and today we see the fruits of those prayers.
I reminded all present that choosing to serve God, together with my household, has been the foundation of every success story we share.
Later, we proceeded to Umuagu Ibeku to fulfill a vow made years ago by flagging off the construction of an Ecumenical Centre that will seat 1,000 worshippers. The property, acquired in 2009, is part of my personal covenant with God. Importantly, the project is entirely private, and no government funds will be used to execute it.
Finally, we moved to Laguru in Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA, where we simultaneously flagged off the rehabilitation of ₦1.3 billion Ubakala Water Scheme and Ariaria Water Scheme, Aba, a project aimed at improving access to clean water for our communities.
With God’s grace and the support of Ndị Abia, our journey toward a greater and more blessed Abia continues to advance.
Ugwunagbo Hosts First Stop of Abia State Community Engagement Programme
Dr. Prince Temple Nwosu presents Ugwunagbo’s Needs Assessment to the Chief of Staff to the Governor
The Abia State Government has commenced a statewide tour of Local Government Areas under its ongoing Community Engagement Programme, with Ugwunagbo LGA as the first stop.
The engagement, organized Thursday 21st May 2026, on behalf of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, is part of efforts to strengthen grassroots participation in governance and address the developmental needs of Abians directly.
Speaking at the Ugwunagbo Local Government Council Headquarters, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, PhD, reiterated Governor Otti’s commitment to responsible, inclusive, and people-oriented leadership.
Pastor Ajagba noted that every community and LGA has unique needs and priorities, making direct consultation with the people essential. He stated that the present administration remains focused on making informed decisions based on the genuine needs and aspirations of the people, rather than assumptions.
He explained that the Community Engagement Programme is designed to enable government to interact directly with citizens, listen to their concerns, and gather developmental priorities that will guide interventions and policy decisions. He assured the people of Ugwunagbo LGA that all requests and submissions made during the engagement would receive due attention.
Dr. Prince Temple Nwosu, Chairman of the Event Organising Committee for the Community Engagement, welcomed the delegation and formally presented the compiled Needs Assessment of Ugwunagbo’s ten wards to the Chief of Staff through the Mayor of Ugwunagbo, Hon. Chiemela Wagbara.
As part of the visit, the delegation led by the Chief of Staff also paid a courtesy call on a veteran politician of Ugwunagbo, Hon. Chinwe Nwanganga.

Dear Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, I am celebrating you because of the great work you did when you served in the House of Representatives. In just 18 months, you completed so many projects in Aba North and South Federal Constituency that people are still talking about.
Hon. Ebisike helped people get jobs in Customs, NPA, Immigration, Road Safety, and other places. This same man fought for his people who deserved promotions in federal ministries, departments and agencies and made sure they got what they earned. I am a witness.
One thing I will never forget is how he used his position on the House Committee on Customs to help Aba garment traders and importers. Their goods were being seized even though the goods were not illegal, and they were also being charged too many fees. Hon. Ebisike went to the Nigerian Customs office in Abuja many times to speak up for them. I was with him every time he went. The Aba business community kept calling on him, and he never got tired of helping. Many of their goods were recovered because of his efforts. This is why Aba traders still talk about him on the radio till today.
He was also the man who made Ndiegoro safer. He gave motorcycles and equipment to the five zones of the Ndiegoro Community Police Vigilante (NCPV), which helped improve security in Aba South. He made sure the safety of ordinary people came first. Go and verify.
Do you remember the lawmaker who stood up and questioned the shady handover of Nigeria Air to Ethiopian Airlines? That was Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike. As a member of the House Committee on Aviation, he asked the tough questions nobody else was asking. How much money was Ethiopia actually bringing in? Who valued Nigeria’s aviation market, and what was it worth? What does 49% of that market actually mean in cash?
And most importantly, whose interest was the deal really serving, Nigeria, some private individuals, or Ethiopia? He warned that giving Ethiopian Airlines 49% of Nigeria’s aviation market would allow them to fly local and international routes in Nigeria while still competing against Nigerian airlines.
It would also mean Nigeria loses huge amounts of foreign exchange as the airline sends money back to Ethiopia while putting very little in return. Worst of all, it would destroy Nigeria’s local airline industry and put many Nigerians out of work. He also asked why a capable Nigerian investor like Mr. Allen Onyema of Air Peace was not considered to manage Nigeria Air instead.
Beyond politics, Hon. Ebisike gave $100 each to many small traders in Aba to help grow their businesses. He provided canopies and shade for them and spoke to the state government about reducing their taxes. Trained 575 individuals in agribusiness with startup funds.
A man who invested heavily in education, built schools, distributed educational materials, awarded scholarships, and registered WAEC examinations for over 150 persons within Aba North and South. This same man invested in healthcare, built the Okigwe road clinic, donated funds for free medical treatments across the Aba North and South LGAs.
He also built town halls for many communities in Aba, Ohafia got a storey building, Eziama got one, Akoli Aba got one, Nkwerre got one, and many others too. That of Nguru Mbaise and Obuda Aba were renovated All of this happened within just the 18 months he spent in office representing the people of Aba North and South Federal Constituency. The person who replaced him hasn’t come close to matching what he did.
Today, I celebrate you for treating everyone in Aba equally (indigenes and non indigenes). You never left anyone out. You are the man who understood what inclusive politics means.
Dear Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike (ChimaObiNdiAba), God will continue to bless you, protect you, and reward you for everything you have done for us.
Happy Birthday to you!
– Emenike Vincent Onyembi (EVO),
Your Younger Brother and Constituent.
