@crogers_htown I would have pranked the shit out of him and pretended there was a police car outside on the day he got off lol. He sounds like the type of guy who could handle a joke. Glad he’s gonna be OK.
He is the duly elected president. More people disagree with you that agree with you.
He's gone through hell. This is our system. Imagine thinking this could happen in any other country. You don't have to like him, but you have to respect our country is a special place that this can happen.
Norm, I enjoy your commentary. I believe you are a gift to the poker community. When WSOP was on ESPN I would take over our local bar and insist they turn it up, and eventually it became "a thing" to show up there on Thursday nights to watch poker with the regulars
There is a communist threat. People are disengaged and are turning towards it. Maybe we can argue that things should have never got this far - and blame can be placed. But, it's true that a fair amount of youth seem to be more interested in turning away from the American experiment in liberty and self governance - and embracing responsibility and duty - and are willing to entertain historically terrible ideologies. I hope you are well!
@bobharty78@Super70sSports I used to do a version of this at a bodega in New York. At a certain time you could come get a slip, filled out with a little golf pencil. Minimum 3 team parlay. Then I think it was Monday you came in if it hit.
@AbstractEntityZ@AlecTorelli You're probably right about that. Is true, though, that Hispanics are better that middle Eastern Muslims, generally male, that are occupying Europe. We can integrate Hispanics, it's not possible to integrate a completely foreign set of people with a different religion.
He's like a Billy Idol fan living in 1994. The world moved on. We get it, you were on top of things in 1987, but you gotta move on. Quit bleaching your hair and accept that you're just not relevant currently. As time goes on, it gets worse and worse for you. Lose the fucking mask and join reality.
I was at a beach recently with my boys and I could feel the tide pulling against my legs, even jn shallow water. There was a group of kids, about ages 7-10 that were naively swimming further out than they should have. I made the call to go out and tell them all to come in. It got a little dramatic because I started yelling at a couple of the older ones who didn't want to listen. The parents came up and were confused and one mom was a little indignant. She was like "why are you doing this?". Shortly after another dad came to my defense and said "lady, it's dangerous out there, he did the right thing" and eventually a life guard came up and told me I made the right call. I hated to be the bad guy but my protective instincts just took over. This was about 2 months ago.
